I can still feel the warm spark of joy covering my skin as I heard Misty’s playful barks from my backyard on her first day at her forever home—our home! From that moment on, every one of my household chores quickly became devoted to the care and happiness of my new furry sister. I didn’t even mind the smelly ones! At five years old, that was my definition of unconditional love. Every dog and cat since Misty—whether we’ve shared a haven or only exchanged a quick head scratch—has taught me a profound life lesson: to go out into the world leading with love and kindness, always. 

Before I was ready to take on the incredible responsibility of raising respectful and joyful pups of my own, I dedicated my time to caring for the fur-babies of my friends and family. Welcomed into their packs, I discovered something invaluable: every furry friend has their own unique needs, and it’s a privilege to meet them. How lucky am I to fulfill those needs? In return, they give me the greatest gift of all—their unconditional love and acceptance.

Now, I’m fortunate enough to receive that gift daily from the two most unique and delightfully silly Brittanys I call my own: Simon and Murray. Through their love and companionship, I realized my mission—to give back to all the dogs in the Valley. No matter how busy life gets, we humans deserve the unwavering love of our furry companions, and they deserve elite care that allows them to thrive. At Hound & Haven, we’re here to make that possible.

My journey in pet care is deeply rooted in a lifetime of puppy love. My first experience into the magical world of dogs began with a charismatic Pomeranian named Pepper, who not only claimed the title of my first dog ever, but we also had matching hair. This set the stage for a life dedicated to canine companionship. 

With over six years of private experience on the side providing premium in-home pet sitting across Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, and the Phoenix metropolitan area, I've transformed my passion for dogs into a service that celebrates the soul of every furry client. Currently, I share my haven (though let's be honest, it's their haven) with two spunky Miniature Schnauzers who have expertly trained me in the art of snuggles and strategic treat distribution. They remind me daily that dogs aren't just pets—they're the cutest family members who deserve extraordinary care, love and enrichment.

Through life's peaks and valleys, I've experienced firsthand the profound therapeutic benefits our canines provide, making every tail wag and puppy kiss a reminder of why I choose life with dogs. At Hound & Haven, we're not just running a dog care and concierge service; we're cultivating a community where every pup receives the royal treatment they deserve.
